Buying children's clothing online in the UAE is easy to get right and easy to get wrong. The difference usually comes down to five checks, all of which take under a minute each.
1. Check the sizing system, not just the size
A size 24 from an Indian-made brand is not the same as a UK age 4-5 label. Brands that manufacture in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh usually use number sizing tied to age ranges. Before adding to cart, find the brand's size chart and compare a garment your child already wears. Our full breakdown is in how Indian number sizing works.
2. Read the fabric line
In this climate, fabric decides whether an outfit gets worn or hangs in a wardrobe. Cotton and cotton blends for everyday. Lined georgette or cotton lawn for festive. Be cautious with unlined polyester and heavy brocade. More detail in our guide to fabrics that actually breathe.
3. Confirm delivery times before an event
If you are buying for a wedding or Eid, order at least three weeks ahead. That leaves room to exchange a size. Within the UAE, Abu Dhabi orders from us usually arrive in 1 to 2 working days and other emirates in 2 to 4. Details on our delivery and returns page.
4. Check whether cash on delivery is available
Cash on delivery remains the most common way to buy online in the UAE, and for good reason — you see the item before you pay. We offer it across all seven emirates, alongside card payment at checkout if you prefer.
5. Read the returns window
Look for two things: how many days you have, and what condition the item must be in. Ours is 7 days from delivery, unworn and unwashed with tags attached. Anything shorter than 7 days is worth questioning for children's clothing, since you often cannot try an outfit properly until the child is awake and cooperative.
A sixth check, for peace of mind
Message the seller before ordering. A brand that answers a sizing question quickly on WhatsApp is a brand that will answer if something goes wrong. If nobody replies before you have spent money, that tells you what happens after.
You can reach us on WhatsApp or through our contact page, and our FAQ covers most order questions.
